Taimani rugs reflect their nomadic origins. Weavers from the remote villages of central and western Afghanistan weave beautiful floral and other natural motifs into them with a decorative chain weave called “soumak”. Their rich colors fascinate us, the typical dark blue-red combination turns into dark purple, green and gray to orange, deep pink and natural cream or brown.
