Vintage KUCHI

I present to you a collection of semi-nomadic vintage rugs that you won’t find anywhere else. Personally selected pieces have their own exceptional handwriting, unique processing and an unmistakable story.

The understated piece with a dark blue and burgundy background is decorated with delicately embroidered floral motifs and thin chains. The rug was woven by a Kuchi nomadic woman in Badghis province in western Afghanistan 15 years ago. Extended Kuchi families still travel for months across vast territories to graze cattle. They live in large tents, a sedentary way of life is unacceptable for them. They have wild unbridled hearts, are proud of their origins and unique customs. Treat yourself to a piece of this unrestrainedness in your interior! The Kuchi rug is in excellent vintage condition.
